We use your food photos and body details only to estimate calories and give you advice. We never sell your data. Location is off unless you turn it on. You can delete your account and all data anytime in Settings.
Who we are
SwasthyaAI ("we") provides an AI calorie-estimation app. Contact: support@swasthyaai.app.
What we collect
Account: name and email address, and a securely hashed password managed by Firebase Authentication (we never see your password). Profile: age, gender, height, weight, goal, diet type, and activity level. Meals: the photos you scan and the food items, portions, and calorie estimates. Optional: approximate location, only if you turn on restaurant nudges. Technical: device type, app version, and crash logs.
Why we use it
To estimate calories in your meals, calculate your daily target and BMI, show your history, send reminders you opt into, manage your subscription, keep the service secure, and improve accuracy. We process health-related data only with your consent, which you give when you complete your profile, and you can withdraw it by deleting your account.
Food photos and AI
Your meal photo is sent securely to our server and to an AI service provider to identify the food. Photos are processed to produce the estimate and are not stored on our servers after analysis. Our AI provider does not use your photos to train its models.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that run the app for us: Google Firebase (login and database, servers in India), our AI provider (photo analysis), Google Play / Apple and RevenueCat (subscriptions). We do not sell or rent your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. On deletion, your profile and meal history are erased within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records held by the app stores).
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (and GDPR where it applies) you can access, correct, or erase your data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Edit your details in Settings, delete your account in Settings → Delete account, or email us.
Children
SwasthyaAI is not intended for anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian’s consent, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
